Oberon Council has maintained the Cemeteries Register since 1968.
There are many unmarked and unknown grave sites within the grounds of the cemeteries Oberon Council manages. Of note, some graves date back to the 1800’s and are of historical significance.

Oberon Cemetery is located on the Abercrombie Road, 2.3km from the Oberon Post Office, a short 3 minutes from the town centre.
Black Springs Cemetery is located on the Campbell's River Road, Black Springs, 20 mins from the town centre of Oberon.
Shooters Hill Cemetery is located on the Shooters Hill Road via the Edith Road some 20 mins from the town centre of Oberon.
O'Connell Cemetery is located on the Mutton Falls Road, O'Connell.
Porters Retreat Cemetery is located on the Abercrombie Road, Porters Retreat.
Isabella Cemetery is located just over 7km on the Isabella Road, Isabella.
Burraga Cemetery is located on the Burraga Road, Burraga.
Hazelgrove Catholic Cemetery is a historical cemetery run by the The Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church.
The Original Methodist Cemetery is still in use as a Uniting Church cemetery. The headstones in this burial ground date back to 1859.
Mutton Falls Anglican Cemetery also referred to as Tarana Anglican Cemetery allows access to the public and is located on corner of Mutton Falls Road and Lowes Mount Road, Mutton Falls.
O’Connell Anglican Cemetery also referred to as O'Connell Private Cemetery allows access to the public. Located approximately 250m off Beaconsfield Road, 500m from O'Connell Road and is approached from a driveway behind St Thomas’ Anglican Church.
O'Connell Catholic Church Cemetery is a small cemetery located behind St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on O'Connell Road at O'Connell.
