2025 Community Survey Results
Published on 16 April 2025
Thank You for Having Your Say, Oberon!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Oberon Council Community Survey 2025. We received 164 responses from across the local government area, and we’re grateful to everyone who took the time to share their views. This survey marks the first phase of community consultation as we prepare our 2025–2029 Delivery Program under the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework.
What You Told Us
Your feedback provided clear insights into what matters most to our community:
- Roads and infrastructure are the top priority for residents
- Access to healthcare, youth and community services, and public spaces were frequently raised
- Many of you expressed a strong desire for improved governance, transparency, and communication
- There is widespread support for better maintenance of unsealed roads, investment in playgrounds, and greater engagement with our rural villages

What Happens Next
Your feedback will directly inform the draft Delivery Program and Resourcing Strategy, which outlines Council’s priorities, services, and projects over the next four years.
We will be:
- Using your feedback to shape strategic objectives and funding priorities
- Reviewing service levels and capital works programs in line with community expectations
- Sharing the Draft Delivery Program and IP&R documents in May 2025 for public exhibition and further input
This is just the beginning and there will be more opportunities to Have Your Say as we finalise the plan together.
Stay Involved
We encourage you to stay connected via Have Your Say Oberon, our website, and social media to follow updates and provide further input during the next phase.
Thank you again for being part of shaping Oberon’s future.
