Oberon Street - Water Main Repair Update 17/01/2024

Council’s Water and Sewer crew repaired a water main leak near 33 Oberon Street yesterday. As a result, residents in the vicinity may experience some discoloured water.

While this may not be aesthetically pleasing, it does not represent a drinking water safety concern and is a normal occurrence when the water main flow gets disrupted.

Should discoloured water appear in your household, a remedy could be to flush your household supply by running a tap – preferably furthest away from the water meter – until the discolouration has cleared.
