Sewer Mains Smoke Testing and Maintenance Works – September 2024

Council’s contractor Interflow will be in Oberon during September to undertake sewer main smoke testing and maintenance work.

Both activities are important to ensure environmental impacts are minimised.

Notifications from Interflow with further details will be sent out to residents whose homes are scheduled for the relevant work.

The areas where Smoke Testing will be undertaken include:

- Albion Street

- Armstrong Place

- Bell Street

- Bligh Street

- Brennan Crescent

- Curtis Street

- Dillon Street

- Dr Perkins Crescent

- Dudley Street

- Dulce Drive

- Fleming Street

- Hawken Street

- Hunter Street

- Kelly Place

- King Street

- Luchetti Place

- Maher Drive

- North Street

- Oberon Street

- O'Connell Road

- Phillip Street

- Ross Street

- Spicer Place

- Springfield Street

- Strathroy Avenue

- Tarana Road

- Whiteley Lane

The areas where sewer mains cleaning and CCTV inspections will occur include:

- Strathroy Avenue

- Dillon Street

Residents are advised that during this time residents may see an increase in smoke which is not unusual when maintenance works of this type are carried out.
