Pollution Control

Oberon Council is the "Appropriate Regulatory Authority" for most premises in relation to air, water and noise pollution within the Local Government Area.

This is is accordance with the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997. The exceptions are premises owned by the Government and premises licence to pollute by the Environment Protection Authority (EPA).
